AIRMAN & FAMILY READINESS CENTER

The Hill AFB Airmen & Family Readiness Center's primary focus is to support readiness by helping families and single military members adapt to the demands of Air Force life and to assist commanders respond to identified concerns and issues.

The A&FRC designs, develops, and conducts quality of life programs according to base and community needs and capabilities. The A&FRC is chartered as a primary prevention agency and functions to ensure resources required to support the entire base are available and accessible.

To accomplish its mission, the A&FRC serves as the focal point for family matters and is professionally staffed to provide four core functions: 1) Provide a central point of information, referral and follow-up; 2) Coordinate and consult with other base and civilian service provider agencies to strengthen policy and programs that benefit the military community; 3) Help base leaders effectively meet family needs at the unit level; 4) Conduct family life education and skills.
