YOUTH EMPLOYMENT SKILLS PROGRAM (YES) - The Youth Employment Skills Program (YES) is an on-base volunteer program for high school students sponsored by the Air Force Aid Society. This program offers students an opportunity to learn valuable work skills, "bank" dollar credits toward their post-secondary education, and have a positive impact on their base community. YES allows students $4 in grant funding for every hour volunteered for an on-base organization.
Military Teen Adventure Camps: Military teens (14 to 18 years old) will have an opportunity to participate in adventure camps scheduled April 2011 through April 2012.
Each camp offers a unique outdoor experience that will allow you to build your leadership, self-confidence, and teamwork skills while participating in activities like camp cooking and archery. Camps have funding available to assist with transportation costs.
Camps for youth with special needs (mental, physical, and emotional) are also planned in California, Ohio, and New Hampshire. There is something for everyone!

KEYSTONE - Keystoning is the Boys and Girls Club Movement's most dynamic teen program. Keystone is a chartered small-group leadership and service club for boys and girls ages 13-18. Keystoners elect officers and plan and implement their own activities in six areas; service to Club and community, leadership development, education and career exploration, unity, free enterprise, and social recreation.
CONGRESSIONAL AWARD - The Congressional Award is a public partnership created by Congress to promote and recognize achievement, initiative, and service in America's youth. The Congressional Award provides a unique opportunity for young people to set and achieve personally challenging goals that build character and foster community service, personal development, and citizenship. Open to youth ages 14-18, the Congressional Award is about challenge. It is a fun way to get more involved in something you already enjoy or that you would like to try for the first time. To earn the award, you set goals in four areas: Volunteer public service, personal development, physical fitness, and expedition/exploration. Our Teen Coordinator will help you set challenging but achievable goals and plan activities to reach those goals.
