APPROPRIATE DRESS REQUIRED FOR ALL YOUTH CENTER FUNCTIONS- Halter tops and spaghetti straps are not permitted. Shirts must cover midriff. Garments should not contain inappropriate slogans or advertisement for alcohol, tobacco, or include sexually suggestive content or text. Pants will not be worn in a manner that shows undergarments. Closed-toe shoes are highly recommended. Thank you.

Class Description Lessons incorporate theory, listening, and accompaniment. Custom exercises are tailored to each student's needs. Advanced students are encouraged to learn to improvise, play with others, challenge themselves, and expand their repetoire. Lessons include piano instruction, sight reading, ear training, computer lab, theory, and games. Lots of fun! Classes are designed to give students instruction in various dance styles.
Instructor Background Mike has been composing, recording, and instructing since 1978. Formal study began at 11 and by age 15 he began his own group. He bcame an instructor at 18 at the Master Conservatory of Music in Ontario, Canada. Also, he studied classical guitar with Tim Phelan and Music Harmony with Boris Borgstrom. Sandy has taught Piano for 31 years. She is a member of the Music Teacher's National Association and the Utah Music Teacher's Association. She is chairman for the Yamaha Clavinova Festival. She owns and operates a piano studio in West Haven. Antionette is owner of "A" Plus Dance. She has also toured with the USO and has been a part of the USA Dance Staff.

Class Description Class will contain a combination of soft and hard style self defense, sparring, and weapons. Judo is a year-round Olympic grappling sport involving the use of a variety of techniques like throwing, pinning, choking (13 yrs+) and arm locks (17 yrs+). Competition available at all levels. Bottom Line: Jr. athletes will be expeced to make decisions in less than 1 second and accept the results while learning to be successful in sport and life. Students will focus on self-defense, self-control, and self-discipline.
Instructor Background Gloria is a 7th degree Blackbelt with 23 years of experience in Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Kickboxing, Kung Fu, Kenpo, and more. She has taught on Hill AFB for over 17 years, as well as off base. Don is a member of the United States Judo Inc., registered at the rank of Sandan (3rd degree Blackbelt). He is also a certified National Level coach with USA Judo. He was a USAF Judo Team Member in 1987 and 1988. He has over 30 years of national and international Judo experience and has been teaching for over 20 years. Troy holds a Blackbelt with the World Tae Kwon Do Federation, World Haidong Gumdo Federation, and the World Hapkido Federation.
