SCHOOL AGE PROGRAM- Youth ages 5-12 years old can attend the Before and After School Care Program that enhance children's existing skills while introducing and encouraging new interest. Youth have the opportunity to experience seven activity rooms such as Media, Arts and Crafts, Music, Imagination, Construction and Gym. Boys and Girls Club of America and 4-H music programs are also incorporated into daily activities. The School Age program is accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA). Meals and snacks are served which are approved by the USDA. Youth are escorted to Hill Field Elementary School on a .15 mile walk. The School Age Program also offers an twelve week studies Summer Camp.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION - This is an opportunity for teens ages 14 and older to gain work experience in a child care setting. They can work up to 40 hours a week, but the program is flexible to what the teens are available to work. Teens may work in the classrooms, the kitchen, helping on field trips, or wherever needed throughout the program.

Teens of Active Duty Air Force members may apply to the YES program where they can submit their volunteer time to earn scholarship money. In addition, teens expand their resumes by documenting their volunteer time for potential jobs. This is a great way to show employers that you are motivated and willing to work hard! Lastly, teens' hours will be submitted to the President's Volunteer Service Award Program.

Parents and the community (18 or older) are welcome to volunteer in our programs to share a talent, interest, or hobby that's age appropriate. Regular volunteers, those who consistently volunteer throughout the year, must be trained in child abuse recognition, prevention, and reporting. They will receive a background check conducted by Youth Programs. Volunteers of any kind are never counted into ratio or left alone with a child at any time.

Garments should not contain inappropriate slogans or advertisement for alcohol, tobacco, or include sexually suggestive content or text. Pants will not be worn in a manner that shows undergarments. Closed-toe shoes are highly recommended. Thank you.
