IMPORTANT NOTE: the program information below is for you, the applicant. Learn all you can before contacting others for assistance. The online information is time-sensitive and time-intensive with no less than a few thousand details to attend to or remember. Reading about the programs is a first step in demonstrating your committment to becoming an AF officer. You will find answers to all the basic questions in the online information. Also plan to attend one of the monthly commissioning orientations (see schedule below) and bring along a prepared list of questions. If you can't attend an orientation, email specific questions to the counselor. All subsequent counseling appointments are scheduled through the counselor.

MSC application questionaire for 2010 Air National Guard Health Professions - POC Confused about where to start? career advice for airmen FIRST: Build a prosperous Air Force career -- Learn your job -- Be the top performer -- Complete CDCs ASAP! and excel at OJT -- Seek leadership opportunities (conduct training, improve work processes or environment) -- Support the community (Big Bros & Sisters, coaching, church functions, food banks, etc) -- Strive for excellence (compete for SrA below-the-zone, quarterly and annual awards) -- Stay in shape and out of trouble (ie. pass your fitness test, DUI etc.) SECOND: Take active steps academically -- take recommended general education courses toward CCAF if you have no civilian college (exceptions are Academy/SOAR programs) THIRD: Attend 1-hour Commissioning Orientation. FOURTH: Prepare a plan to organize your tasks and deadlines Have military credits only? Complete several ideal transfer courses (see back panel of commissioning opportunities brochure) for suggested courses. OR...perhaps consider AF Academy/Prep School or AF ROTC SOAR. How serious are you?
