The Fairchild Library has WIRELESS internet access and a Computer Lab! Resources include over 70 popular and professional periodicals, the local newspaper, and online search databases, PME and higher education support materials, CSAF Reading List as well as CLEP and DANTES study guides.
Our shelves are kept up-to-date with the latest in best sellers, new fiction, and non-fiction, books on tape and CDs, videos and DVDs, popular music on CD, and teen titles. We have a well stocked children's library, picture books and "ready to read" titles, 3 kid sized computers, weekly pre-school storytimes, a summer reading program, and seasonal programs. Adult and Teen programs are also scheduled. We offer a convenient exterior book return for after hours drop off.
If you are looking for a quiet place for your staff meetings, we offer a small conference room which seats 18 people. To schedule this room, please call 247-5556.

Frequent Questions
Why is the Library closed on Saturdays?
To best support our adult student population we chose to be open on Sundays to allow students to research and prepare classroom work for the following week. Nearby libraries (Airway Heights/Medical Lake/Cheney) are all open on Saturdays for your convenience, while only the local university and Cheney libraries are open on Sundays.
Does the Library have Internet and Wi-Fi access?
Yes. You can even access the Wi-Fi from outside the Library after hours.
Does the Library Computer Lab have CAC readers?
Yes.
May I use the phone to make a DSN call at the Library?
Yes, but as we only have 2 lines, we ask that you make it a brief call.
Can you send a DSN FAX at no charge from the Library?
Yes, we can FAX to a DSN number, a local number or a toll-free number for you.
May I access the Library catalog from home?
Yes, please come into the Library and we can demonstrate how to do it.
May I renew Library materials online or over the phone?
Yes, come in and get a user ID and PIN to renew online. Otherwise, please call 247-5556.
May I borrow a book from another Library?
Yes, please come into the Library and we can help you with your request.
