New Equipment Use Policy: Beginning January 9, a new policy goes into effect that establishes priority for military members in PT gear during peak times. Non-uniformed members are to give priority on certain equipment between 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. This applies to the strength training and cardio equipment areas on the second floor only. Fitness center staff are available to suggest alternative equipment or other areas in the center where non-military can accomplish their workouts.

Hess Fitness Center Renovation: The Hess Fitness Center is closed for renovations. The bubble will remain open, with access routes to be determined.
Many areas remain available for unit PT reservations.
Improvements coming to the Hess include converting about two thirds of the gym floor to a cardio/strength training area, remaining third of gym floor will remain a sports court (basketball, volleyball, and unit PT), renovation of the lobby, resurfacing racquetball courts, replacing flooring in Family Fitness, and replacing fire detection system and windows. Please pardon our dust while we bring more cardio/strength training capability to our fitness centers. For further information please call 777-2762.
