The FamCamp “Beautification Day” is scheduled for the 21st of May. We get together and clean-up, spruce-up, and dude-up the camp. I need people with tree pruning experience, lawn care, strong backs, and a keen eye for landscaping. This is all volunteer work from the campers. Supplies will be provided by the camp. Ideas are welcome. We’ll have a “Weinnie Roast” afterwards starting at 1700 in the main pavilion at Centennial Park.
The “Air Show Weekend” begins the 23rd of September with activities all weekend long. As always we will have Centennial Park reserved so that we can observe the “Thunderbirds” from the comfort of grass and shade. Friday night, 23rd of Sep., is game night at the Log Cabin starting at 1600 hrs. Bring a snack and your favorite game. Games will also be provided by the camp host. On Saturday the 24th we will have our camp picnic, which starts at 1600 hrs. The camp will provide the meat and you provide pot-luck to go with it. On Sunday the 25th we will we will have a "Pancake Breakfast" under the main pavilion at Centennial Park starting at 0900. So make your plans to be with us for that weekend. Get your reservations in early as the RV spots go quickly once the word gets out about the "Air Show Weekend."
The Famcamp will also be sponsoring a pot-luck picnic on the 4th of July starting at 1600 hrs. Come and have a good time with us and watch the fireworks from the comfort of the park. We sit in a field and watch fireworks from three different directions, and on a clear night we can see all the way into Salt Lake City.
Utah celebrates its “Pioneer Days” on the 24th of July. Join us for fun, games and an “Ice cream Social” followed by “Fireworks in the Valley.” More to follow.
Future events will be placed on this site as soon as they are planned. I am open to ideas. So if you have an idea for an event or would like to sponsor an event for the camp, please contact me and we’ll talk.
