Skate Park
The skate park is located just south of the base chapel on 11th Street. The park offers a great opportunity for recreational fun for skateboarders and in-line skaters. Like all recreational activities there are risks associated with skate parks. To help reduce injuries and for the safety of all skate park users, we have established rules which are posted at the park:
- Children under the age of 9 require supervision by a parent or guardian while inside the skate park
- Required safety gear to skate at the park includes a helmet, knee pads, wrist pads, and elbow pads
- No glass containers, food, or beverage allowed on the skating surface
- No other items such as benches, tables wood materials, or other objects used as ramps or jumps are allowed in the skate park facility
- No pets are allowed in skate park area
- No skating against traffic on ramps or pipes
- Do not proceed down a ramp until clear of other skaters
- Alcohol, tobacco, and/or drugs are prohibited
- No bicycle or scooters in skate park area
- No loud music or "boom boxes"
- Have fun!

We need your help to keep our children safe while they enjoy this facility at no cost. The only way this can happen is for parents to take a more active role in ensuring your children wear the proper safety gear, follow the posted rules, and conduct themselves in a safe and respectful manner.
